Daniel was supposed to watch movie with me but we called it off as Steph couldnt make it.

Anywayss, Dad dropped me off at Gurney aaround 3smt pm. met up with Kim ,she brought her DSLR :D:D yayness ,omigoshh

yeahh, i actually meant that literally.
todays saturday. as usual ,went cec went church ,biasa biasa stuffs happened and all.

my face resembled a fish...or a hamster with cereal tucked in its cheek...or garfields spawn...
altogether, it was pretty pathetic. gahh~

and to add insult to injury ,the car kena accident this evening.
well ,it isnt really my business since my parents arent making me pay for the car or anything. but still... i spent practically half an hour standing by the roadside while my dad and Ben's dad poked around.

to explain, there was this irrational ,irresponsible son of a bitch who wouldnt give way to some silver car. at the last minute ,he braked and there was this really loud screeching noise caused by the tyres of his car. he tried to swerve last minute but couldnt pull it off. he slmmed into my dads car and the car went skidding and halted just inches from the metal thingy you know the road outside e-gate. near the sea wan ._.
he didnt stop (who would) just drove off and his bumper fell off a few metres away xD i saw, but didnt tell. cause trouble nia. de door on my dads side was crumpled and couuldnt be open ._. i had to pull ,hard .and i betcha i looked stupid...

Ben's car was behind, and they saw the whole incident (this is embarrassing)
they stopped and came out, you know lah,
ask if you need help la are you okay and all that stuff.
the dad talked to the dad the mom talked to the mom ,i was pretty bored... T____T not to mention hungry.

people slowed down to look and all. and those people with the bikes and luminous jackets came and mumble into their walky talkies ,call more people come .geez ==
there was this old guy who tripped and me and ben were laughing at him ,sorry old man ._.

My second cousins appeared outside my house out of nowhere and dragged me along to Queens.
I was utterly unfit to go but yeah, it was literally 2 against 1.
plus they had a mission : to get a present for my cousin's gf ,its their 4yr anniversary soon. oooooh xp

few days ago he did mention he wanted to get a something pink.
He made me go online shopping + research. I did Chanel ,Gucci ,Coach ,Burberry ,Anya Hindmarch,...
He was moaning about the prices.
I mean, what did he expect? 5-bucks-take-what-you-want price deal? cmon, these are branded brands weih.
if that were the case ,even that madman who lives down the road under a tree would be flinging his Gucci around == (this is just my imagination, there is no man whatsoever living down the road)

He announced his budget :25bucks.
I felt like thowing my mouse at him.
25bucks??!? that wouldnt even get you a buckle of a Burberry D:
dshh..waste my time nia.

so he came up with this idea that he'd be able to find the perfect present within his budget in Queens.
which brings us to why i even went there in the first place.
Today is J-Day.
Any same person would have avoided Queens. but no, he had to go.TODAY. == gahh..

the little people of Penang were practically buying their money's worth.
Jusco was packed with people and i had to elbow my way out :(
i mean ,seriously, you'd see people with 20boxes of Milo. i said boxes, not packets.
and there was this woman who was struggling with her two newly bought trashcans.
when i say trashcans ,i mean trashcans.
i do not mean those cute little itsy-bitsy pink Hello Kitty ones,
i mean those big black fat round fugly ones like the ones you see in the cawangan library ,right next to the vending machine.
what she needed those two big things for i wonder ==
her family must be really really good rubbish makers. poor woman... my sincere sympathies :D

Unexpected Daddy-Daughter outing

I got up at 9 today.which is rare. an accomplishment ,in fact :D

Dad was eating his cereal ,and suddenly ,i dont know what happened ,and still dont know .
He must have bitten something hard and it went up to his brain.
cz, a second later...
He wanted to go to Queens ._.
As you know, i'm grounded. to be able to see daylight again is like a blessing a miracl-...okay fine, i'm exaggerating :P

I didnt expect this. My hair was in a mess. My clothes were unsuitable.
but ,who cares huh..just brush and go .Dad was already sitting in the car ,outside the house. (whats the rush :( ish..)
as i was leaving ,i just realised my phone battery was running flat. *sigh
was thinking i wont be able to text teddy much now ;S

It turns out most of the chsians chose this day to kunjungi Queens ;) so it was like some sort of unexpected outing together xD
Steph ,Angie ,Kristine and Christine was there. Choong and Jason was in Coffee Bean. saw Mel and ASh and Jojo too :)
the form5s were busy spm-ing ;) Choong claims he baca buku ,say he study science all.that boy went watch movie instead. tsktskkk ,Choong choongyy ;O
Angie ,supposed to be nerding moral. that girl pula focused on getting the daily planner thinggy from Starbucks. She had that card thing ,and needed 6 more stamps.

Instead ,she tried to get me to get Choong to buy instead. WHy didnt she just ask Steph ,i do not know. Spm must have trampled her brains ;( aihs..

Hmmmn, i've been kinda busy this week.although busy doing what ,i dunt know xD

Monday was altogether bo-ringg. same old same old ,nth much happened.sometimes i wonder why i even bother going to school AT ALL. :(

Tuesday was hillarious. school-organised-lawatan-stuffs are never much fun. and and to add insult to injury ,we visited some aquarium to look at.....FISH D:
ARGHH ,.

we spent half the day at Equator ,an arts college full of naked statues with obscene gestures ._.
seriously ,a piece of cloth around them is granted decent,.
next we headed over to that dreaded aquarium next. lunched at Mcd(sunrise) and back to school ;S how dull ,no?

Wednesday SUCKED. i was called upon two freaking times by that stupid indian dude >: (
well ,the day was going fine ,slept and crapped in class, no one disturbed me. and then adn then we were sent to the auditorium, it was claustrophobic.

AND all those jabs and injections and pills *shudders* Gawd,..self-pity was almost acceptable at that time.

Friday ,stuck in my personal hell another day. heck ,what are they thinking?? I WAS PERFECTLY FINE >: ( they imprisoned me another day!!! pshh..

Saturday Finally i was discharged. i was pretty blur the whole day .Confirmation for the Form4s. sorry i didnt attend mass at CHS. but anyways

it was a killer 7-hour thingg and thank God i was in slippers,..

Social Integration: A Better Life

The lack of social integration, which is societal bonding and positive social acceptance and interaction, in our society nowadays has degraded to an alarming level. As research and surveys have proven, lack of social integration causes negative consequences on an individual, his family and the community. Social integration can be viewed from various aspects, such as politics, religion, racism and cultures.

We have been greatly blessed with a prosperous and peaceful country where three major ethic groups live and work in harmony. Although the likelihood for social conflict to erupt between the multi-racial people is high, we, as proud Malaysians, must strive hard and make great efforts to live in peace and harmony. This is attainable when there is tolerance, acceptance, understanding, care and communication among the people of different races and cultures in Malaysia.

Without achieving social integration, the marginalized will feel unaccepted and experience excessive negligence and polarization will result. At the same time, their opportunities to experience productive lives will be limited. This may result in high incidences of physical and mental illnesses in our society and as a consequence, suicide rates may skyrocket, thereby stunting the development of the country.

Hence, we should stand up and do something instead of moping around, wringing our hands helplessly, as actions are better than words. As individual members of our society, we should start by learning to respect each other’s cultures, religions, personal views etc., as this is the one of the essentials in sociology. Although we have freedom of speech, we should not abuse it by criticising others’ personal views and beliefs. Instead, we should think before we speak so that we will not offend others unnecessarily.

As a dutiful citizen, we can also aid the marginalized in building their self-esteem and positive self-acceptance. This can be done by spending quality time interacting and trying to understand them and also by demonstrating emotional and mental value of interaction for the neglected individuals. We must help to instill the ‘I am not alone’ concept in them to convince them that they are accepted and loved and that they are contributing to society as well. These people often rely on peer groups for motivation. Therefore, getting them to believe that they have equal participation in our society will benefit them mentally, emotionally and even physically.

More importantly, the government should introduce positive social integration to the young. This method is believed to be effective as the young children will learn quickly and there will not be any antagonism against the concept of social integration which is being introduced to them. If educated properly, they will grow to become people with proper values and morals. There should also be no segregation in schools either. Interschool camps and expeditions to spastic centers, orphanages or even charity homes will help in the desegregation of the pupils as they will learn to be comfortable in the presence and company of the less fortunate members of society.

Parents also play an important role in the development of children. Instead of discouraging their children from interacting with the marginalised, parents should be practising positive social integration to set a good example for their children to follow.

Moreover, the government should also do their bit in abolishing negative social integration in the country. They can organize campaigns to educate the people or found organizations to bring in positive social impact on the isolated groups of society. Besides, the government should also be considerate towards the disabled. Facilities aiding the disabled are found to be lacking in public areas. This shows that the disabled are also receiving a distinct negligence from the society and this must be remedied to better integrate them with society at large.

All in all, I hope that we will realize the dilemma shortly and hasten to amend it by starting to practise positive social integration today! :)
